Review on Wahl Professional Sterling 8779 Stylists by Yesenia Quirante

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Probably the most accurate and quietest trimmer on the market! Very important.!

As the man who began using "stylists" in the late 1960s, when men's salons were just beginning to attract attention and style competitions were of great importance. I've always had some sort of electric trimmer to trim my mustache, eyebrows, and facial hair. My first trimmer, purchased in the mid 1970's, was an Andis Model AE T-Edger plug-in. Since then I have cordless trimmers. Just because I saw my hair clipper with their Sterling Mag I was interested in upgrading my home trimmer. All in all, this is the best trimmer I've ever used. The Sterling Mag is unique in that the trimmer body is lightweight, quiet and very durable. The blade is apparently unique to Sterling Mag. It's narrow, with very thin blades that are literal. Let me trim the individual hairs of the mustache! It's so accurate. Combine its precision with an ergonomic shape that feels comfortable in your hand and a virtually silent operating sound and you have one of the best trimmers on the market. This is not only my opinion, but also the opinion of many professional hairdressers. I would definitely recommend this trimmer to my friends. I keep this one at home and put my old Wahl cordless trimmer in my travel kit. A NOTICE. I suspect some reviewers are confusing buying a Wahl Sterling trimmer kit or an all in one trimmer kit. Although the trimmer body looks identical and costs about $20 less, this product is not a Sterling Wahl "Mag" trimmer. When someone says "My trimmer isn't cutting well or working accurately," I suspect they're referring to Wahl kits. They don't have a "super sharp thin blade". Your "trimming blade" isn't really that much better than the trimmer head you find on an electric shaver.
