Called "trimmer" but really only for edging and stripping. Only 4 plastic pads with 1/8" gaps are supplied. The pads are very long and pointed, not suitable for tight areas of the face. Works properly but is not a premium device. I saw it at my hairdresser's and she recommended it to me. I had to trim my sideburns, goatee, mustache and hair around my ears. Works well but not great. I bought this machine a few years ago to trim my poodles paws and muzzle. I ran fine at first and then like the other review it went from normal speed to very high speed and stopped cutting. I brush and oil it with a fine toothbrush after each use and keep it cool while I use the clippers. It doesn't matter what I do, cut her face or her legs. It just does this stupid fast speed in the middle of use and there's nothing I can do to get it back to normal speed. It wasn't cheap either. Don't waste

I am SO impressed with this product! All the good reviews I read were true! I've probably always spent more on cheaper mini clippers, especially rechargeable ones, only to be disappointed. So I did some research and crossed my fingers, and I'm so glad I did. It's quiet, smooth, no nicks and shaves SO close. To be honest I use it on the bikini line like a typical razor, even very expensive brands cause razor burning.
