Cats Love It - Wet

A few years ago our vet told us that our cats needed to lose weight. I did a little research and found that Wellness CORE seems to be a pretty decent wet food. Once we understood how many calories dry food contains and how little dry food they actually need to eat, we started with wet food. (We fed free dry food.) My cats love the taste of this food. One of my cats is very picky, so that's a big deal. Its calorie content is slightly higher than that of a domestic cat, but not by much. When given this flavor as a treat they are always very excited and I'm not sure if they actually taste it, they eat it up so quickly. It's definitely not the cheapest cat food, but I like to think the ingredients make it worth it. My cats have lost weight (wet or dry makes a difference) but now I have to brush their teeth. Despite the fact that all vets believe that dry food is just as bad for your teeth, we never had a problem until they started eating wet food. That would be the only negative I can think of that will be remedied by brushing (which really hurts) or adding some kibble to the diet as a treat.
