Wellness CORE Grain-Free Wet Cat Food: Natural Turkey & Duck Pate, 5.5 oz Cans - Pack of 24 Review

My cat has been eating healthy cat food since childhood and has had no problems. I decided to switch to the main line of Pate Wellness cat foods because they were recommended for indoor cats. It was more expensive but I realized that the quality was worth it. After two days of eating, my cat vomited both days and the second day she didn't even touch him.

My adoptive cat has IBD and came to me on a prescription diet. After reading the composition of the prescription crap. I mean food, I understand why this cat is still suffering. Switching her to an all-meat diet was another step. I'm not happy that it contains guar gum, but it's pretty good compared to what's in prescription foods. The cat loves it and her health has improved a lot.

This is high quality cat food. Despite the description here, there is NO carrageen in the ingredients on the label. My only issue is that there was a glass in the suitcase that had NO WEIGHT. It was sealed, there was no food inside. I reported this to the seller to at least get credit for this expensive meal but got no response. Some banks come dented. Reading other people's reviews I see that this is not uncommon, but it can be dangerous.

I signed up for Wellness Core Grain Free for my cats for 5 years. I haven't experienced any problems and their sensitive stomachs handle it well most of the time. But today I discovered a dark green stain right after opening the jar. It shouldn't have the usual ingredients, and it's more of a mold colony. It's not hard and blends easily into the paste if I grind it lightly. Very concerned about feeding my cats stale food.

My cats love it and they usually eat the whole can at once. If they don't, they'll come back later and finish him off. No issues with vomiting like some other brands I've tried. I'm considering switching my cat from wet/dry to wet food but it hasn't worked. The product itself appears to be fairly typical high quality canned cat food, but my cat is unaffected. it also has a very strong odor that neither me nor (apparently the cat) likes.
