I think these are one of the best headphones available today. The sound quality is on par with significantly more expensive headphones, the build quality is fantastic and they should be reliable as the cables can be swapped out separately from the headphones themselves. piercingly loud or painful, which happens to me with some headphones, especially snare drums, but still full and detailed. The bass is very present, but not distorted or overemphasized as is the case with many headphones today. Vocals and other mids are rich and detailed. Sensitivity is great, they can get very loud when played straight from a computer or mobile device. The soundstage seems wide, with good presence and separation of all instruments on the track. I attribute this to the sheer number of individual drivers and fixtures that can independently reproduce each sound and range. I also find them very comfortable, even with glasses if you don't have thick plastic frames. I think it's a very good buy.
