Review on High Performance Primecooling Aluminum Radiator for 2008-2016 🔥 Jeep Wrangler JK JKU 3.6 3.8 - Enhanced Cooling Efficiency! by Josh Cox

All aluminum suitable for engine cooling and air conditioning

Let me start with 32 years of experience as a submarine mechanic...straight out of the box oh how awesome. verified holes in mounting racks require 6mm 3/4 in. screws (8). The factory screws you remove are wood/plastic threads, which of course won't work. Placed the radiator under the hood and installed the air conditioning condenser and radiator. (.don't remove the A/C lines or you'll have to charge it) then the transmission cooler...it went on with a little tweaking. . I took off all the plastic hood covers and sides, the sides were brittle and the top didn't fit the Thinker heatsink (no need for a new heatsink, cools a lot better than a cheap standard)...then fit the heatsink on the main mount properly. not such an easy part now as the hole for attaching the AC line does not line up with the radiator spacer like it should. drill a new hole? hmmmm, I didn't know they didn't rub or move, so I just let them sit pressed together. The fan cover must be replaced. the tabs on the bottom that fit into the clips on the heatsink don't match and the fan sits too high as a result. I had to cut them off 1/4 inch. The top holes don't line up, I had to drill holes in the plastic case to line them up. So for 1 hour of work it took me 3 hours and a drive back into town (25 miles) for screws. The only ones I could find were 1" body bolts, so I had to use extra washers, which didn't make much of a difference. 300 miles since I installed it, no complaints. Jeep runs cooler than ever. I would buy again if I needed it. I would advise a friend to upgrade. Installation was a hassle, but for the price and the performance you get, it's worth it.
