The skirt is true to size. My girl is 10. I ordered XL 10-12. It's a little big for her now but I think it will fit her perfectly in the summer. Comes to mid-calf, has two medium-sized pockets on the front. This is an absolutely beautiful skirt that goes with any type of top. The belt is elastic, does not stretch. The fabric is soft, stretchy and breathable. The skirt is of good quality and well sewn. My daughter looks so cute in it.
