I bought this vacuum because I recently moved into a new house and needed to separate several areas. With the app I can easily isolate some areas that I don't want to vacuum. I currently have 7 sections locked. I would say the suction power of this robot is on par with most others I've had. I run it twice a week and it completes 600 square feet in 30 minutes. I have hardwood floors with a low-pile carpet. It has no problems with the floor or carpet. The noise level of the vacuum cleaner is the same as other vacuum cleaners I have had. This lidar vacuum cleaner scans a room and then splits it into smaller areas. In each area he makes systematic movements back and forth and then moves on to the next area. You can see the trail in real time when you're not at home or even after it's completed. Since I keep my floors reasonably clean, I only empty the canister once every 2 weeks. I could probably go twice as long, but that's part of my cleansing routine. However, your mileage may vary. If you have carpet, you will likely need to empty the canister more often. I really wish there was a junkyard outside the station so more could fit in. Overall I'm very happy with this little guy. There's even a built-in cord wrap at the bottom of the base station to keep everything nice and tidy.
