Fun for years to come: novelty toys and gags

We all remember those flimsy foam planes you could buy at an ice cream truck, right? They were 6 inches long, made out of very thin foam, and had a small plastic clip that you attached to your nose to give them a bit of weight. They threw them for 10-15 minutes before finally destroying them on hard landings. very similar to these except MOARs! They are BIG, about twice the size of old foam planes. They are made of dense, impact-resistant foam and have a metal ball in the "cockpit" for the weight. They are MUCH more durable than the flimsy old designs. They fly further, fly higher and tolerate use well. My only complaint is that the wings on them seem to be designed in such a way that they always want to make a big loop whenever you throw them. It would be cooler if one plane was designed for one loop and the other with a wing design suitable for long-distance gliding. My kids happily tossed them around my large (3/4 acre) backyard. People with small gardens may want to reserve them for park play, or they often take them from rooftops and neighbors' yards. d inexpensive outdoor entertainment.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
