Suitable for a fixed tripod but not as good as a selfie stick. The phone holder has a strong spring and holds up well. But it has a thin plastic rotating arm ,used for landscape or portrait photography that doesn't hold up well.It has latches to hold the phone in any position,these latches barely hold it in place and the phone moves.The tripod can be unscrewed from the phone holder and can Can be used with any camera base that has a 1/4" thread. I will use it with another action cam for expansion as it is compact. I have never been able to get the mic to work with a phone even after buying an adapter I was able to get it working on another phone using an adapter.But in terms of sound quality I didn't notice any improvement over the phone's microphone, except in the wind. Bluetooth remote camera button h worked well on any phone. I don't have much experience with this set although I will be using 2 components. Thanks very much!
