Review on Dell S2722QC 27 4K USB-C Monitor with Integrated Speakers and Adjustable Stand by Bob Fisher

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Extremely sharp image and text quality with a shaky stand and viewing angle problems

I review this monitor after about six weeks of use. Good - The extremely sharp display quality makes text and images crisp and pleasing to the eye. - Gets very bright, which helps those of us with aging eyes see fine print better. — Decent color quality for office work. It's nice to have a single cable that connects all your devices and powers your laptop. The USB-C hub works great with laptops that support USB-C power delivery, such as the 2020 MacBook Pro and Surface Laptop Studio (with a lower 65W charging speed). The stand allows you to adjust the height perfectly for comfortable use all day long. - You can charge phones and other devices with a USB-A port under the monitor even when the display is off. - Consumes less power and generates less heat than older fluorescent flat screens. shaky. This causes the monitor and the camera on the monitor to shake. The jiggling is noticeable to those you're streaming to during a video call. Fortunately, the stand can be replaced. The display has some viewing angle issues that cause the left and right edges to appear slightly dimmer than the rest of the screen. Approximately two inches of stripe is visible on either side. This isn't uncommon for IPS monitors, but it's a bit more noticeable on this monitor compared to others I have. I've been using Dell monitors for a long time - I bought the first one in 2008 (I still use it in my house). I appreciate their quality, features and price. I bought this monitor to replace a 7 year old Dell P2715Q monitor. This monitor worked great but it was time to upgrade to something with a more modern USB hub to keep my desk simple and clutter free. Overall I think this is a good monitor with great features for the price.
