Review on Sony D-EJ001 CD Walkman (Orange) by Chad Mills

I bought this in 2005, well before my first MP3 player. It was a nice little CD player and worked well until last year when I made the mistake of putting a scratched CD in it. Suddenly the disk began to rotate very slowly. After this happened, it never worked again - it just kept spinning no matter what disc I put in, very slowly, and eventually the message "No Disc" appeared on the display. I just tried using it again with fresh batteries and there was this clicking noise along with the hard drive spinning very slowly. In any case, it was great while it lasted. The front panel controls were pretty clunky and cumbersome, but they had nice features and sounded good.
