Okay so I bought these because of the size of the coin and because I could wet them myself to shed the weight for an ultra light hike. These things are amazing! and for so many reasons. First, they are durable and have an unexpected softness. They have no odor or chemicals. They can be reused after they get wet and as a fabric they can be used multiple times without tearing or falling apart. I can't say enough good things about her. I keep a handful of this in my car, backpack, gym bag, desk, etc. I always carry a water bottle with me, and when you need it, just pour a full capful. Water on it and it expands, then you can add some more water to open it. IT can be facial tissue, car tissue, towel, etc. If you don't remove it, it will dry out into a square soft cloth that can be dried or reused. The UNEXPECTED use I had was a cooling towel. I put two in my backpack, walked across Arizona, and opened one to dust my dirty face and neck. I just quickly used the water from the hydration pack to open it. After using it, I just wore it and started using it over and over to wipe my face. I realized that every time I put it on my face it was cool, I sometimes added some water and it was great at keeping me cool. I ended up clipping the two together to wrap around my neck when it got hot, which was great. I think they sell a larger version which I will buy - it's amazing. I also use them at home with a little water and essential oil for a refreshing wipe and extra scent. Buy these things, you will love them
