I tested them for the first time and was extremely skeptical. I used to only have hair on Velcro curlers. I have below back length, straight hair. They didn't sit very snugly on my head, they kind of fluttered around, but I had a hair net and a silk scarf to wrap around my head when I was done to keep everything in place. I slept very comfortably in them and in the morning they made very intense curls! I combed them out and parted my hair in half, and the curls gradually turned into a more modern look. When I first combed through it, it looked more like an 80's perm. With enough hairspray, they could have stayed just as intense. I definitely plan on using them regularly. I like styling without heat. (Photos will be added later) What I did: 1. Either start with wet hair or dip the curlers in water to create a clean curl.2. Divide the hair into small strands - loosen the curlers and twist them from the ends to the roots.3. Clamp the roll and secure with a pin if necessary.4. Cover the finished curlers with a hairnet and/or handkerchief and let dry or sleep on the curlers.
