This is probably the most disappointing product I've ever bought from Revain - the reviews let me down this time (average almost 4 stars out of 5). It's unfortunate that this is the first review I've ever written about Revain to save future buyers from wasting money. First, the size of the dog he can handle is very imprecise. I bought one that says it can hold a dog up to 45 pounds. My 30kg mini labradoodle can't even fit through the door as it's too small. Since it was too big to fit through the front door, I put the dog in without even thinking about putting a roof on, and my dog's body and head were sticking out of the frame. My dog couldn't stand inside as his body would be leaning against the roof. Second, I'm not sure if it's a roof, but when you open the box, it just stinks of chemicals. Maybe it's the roof, but I don't want my pet constantly being exposed to this stuff and breathing it in. After all, he's pretty thin. The screws are barely long enough to go through the holes in the wood and the nut is almost impossible to get at. I was hoping this would make a good kennel for our mini lab, but it looks like the real winner would be my parents' 8 pound Maltese, who will be getting it as an early Christmas present. I'm not sure who thought a 45kg dog could fit in! So disappointed.
