The boots are beautiful but the buckle is only decorative :(

My son loves them they are very warm and cute BUT the buckle is only decorative and if the description says I missed it (or I forgot because I looked at sooooo many options before buying.) It's an added inconvenience that the boots are now a bit big for him and we couldn't tighten them around his ankles as expected, so the snow has come in. Luckily it is the end of the snow season and in the fall he will get a new snowsuit which will help solve this problem in the next season.
