I purchased this item to train my dog with a new backyard in our new home. The thing has never been reliable. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. And today, as my dog was standing in front of the back door waiting to be let in, she suddenly started squeaking. The collar shocked her and she didn't even get close to the border! Once I pulled her in to remove the collar, she continued to shock her. I literally stood by the transmitter collar in hand and it was still shocking. I am absolutely outraged. I'm asking for a refund as this piece of shit wasn't cheap. Do not buy this product.
