🐶 Enhanced Training and Boundary Control: Petsafe PIF-300 Wireless 2-Dog Fence Containment System Review

First, no dents in the flags! What a relief. I bought a cheaper version from another company because I have two dogs. Both were randomly shocked inside the perimeter and afraid to leave the entrance. Essential unit, first class collars. I am impressed and very happy that I switched to this system.

I was trying to train two puppies but the border keeps moving and is very annoying. I had an in-ground many years ago that worked well. I just bought two new puppies and thought I'd give it a try. It's too contradictory and I'll waste my time going back to the underground system! Not worth the money!

Works great. I set it up myself. I have 3 golden retrievers. I trained dog after dog until it could be persuaded to leave the border area. I started training a second dog when I realized a few flags were missing. My grandson collected them. I decided to use orange color for the markings. It works! The first dog I trained helped train two more. I only have 2 collars, but all 3 stay within range.

So far we like the product. We have 2 Golden Retriever puppies and this product was purchased for them. We can't put up a fence where we live and it can be a hassle to tie dogs on leashes every time. My only complaint about this product is that the collars were too big and they tried to chew on the protruding bit. I had to try to double it. As long as it works

I purchased this item to train my dog with a new backyard in our new home. The thing has never been reliable. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. And today, as my dog was standing in front of the back door waiting to be let in, she suddenly started squeaking. The collar shocked her and she didn't even get close to the border! Our two 20 pound dogs love digging under the same side of the fence and running around. We tried everything we could think of. In addition, 4 large German Shepherd dogs live on the other side of our farm. And when they started terrorizing each other over the fence it looked like someone was about to die! This is an optional wireless dog fence. We already had one but we wanted to expand the area for our dogs to roam. We have four large dogs in these systems so the extra space was a plus for us. This is an excellent product. The reason I gave it a four is because one of the collars doesn't always work. I am very disappointed that I spent so much money and found a collar didn't work properly. I can put a collar on, test it before I put it on, and after a while that dog will cross the line. When I take the collar off and test it doesn't work, but when I turn it off and then back on it works for a while and then repeats the same thing. This is very frustrating as I live on a busy street…
