NOT FOR BEGINNERS, but really effective exfoliant

If you are new to exfoliants, this product is not for you. Start with something less focused. I've been using scrubs for a long time and came across this product. It is important to follow the directions to the last letter, have a neutralizer handy to apply and not leave it on your face longer than recommended. Nevertheless, this scrub is the bomb! My skin felt so smooth and about a week after my skin recovered from the scrub (it's normal for the next few days when skin experiences less than amazing flaking, dryness, sensitivity but that's because the product works), flipping those skin cells) my skin looked and felt amazing. Smoother, brighter, fuller and more vital. As this is quite an intense exfoliant, FEEL a tingling/tingling/slight burn when it's on your skin. For me it was like the scrubs I bought at the spa and spent $100 on and they were very intense but effective so I wasn't overly concerned. RESPECT THE TEMPTATION TO STAY LONGER than the recommended time which is 1 minute. This scrub is very strong and you can cause quite severe irritation or chemical burns if you try to leave it on for too long. I also recommend prepping the skin as directed before using any scrub with 50% rubbing alcohol or witch hazel. I found it really improved my results. I also had a baking soda and purified water neutralizer to apply once the time was up. You can buy a neutralizer online for about $12, or spend $1 like I did at Arm and Hammer. Be sure to rinse off all of the product thoroughly, then apply a neutralizer. I do not recommend using this product too often. This is a very intense scrub, so I use it once a month. In between, I use less concentrated scrubs. The instructions say the product can be diluted with distilled water, but I haven't tried diluting it. You get many treatments for a fraction of the cost of just a spa scrub. If you apply the product with a fan brush as recommended, you really only need to use very little product, so one bottle is enough for many treatments.
