Better than I expected. Works within specification. The LED has the right lens so it shines where you point it. This "USB-B" model appears to be a newer version of this bulb ("USB-A" is older) and does not refer to a connector shaped like USB-A or -B. is 11mA (quiescent current for USB power supply and capacitive button), so on boat or RV, be sure to turn off the circuit when sitting for a long time. (all tests at 12.0V) Current with blue light is 18mA. The lamp current is adjustable from 40mA to 180mA. USB charge current is measured up to 1A (at 12V) so it's likely to deliver 2A at 5V as listed (83% efficiency). The maximum consumption with the lamp at full brightness when charging my phone was 1.2A.
