This replacement product was worth the price and was badly needed. Our cabinets were installed about 10 years ago and about half of them are broken. This replacement is much cheaper than buying the entire hinge as the rest of the bracket is rigidly attached and will not fail unless mechanically damaged. Installation was easy and fits either of the other two hinge models. A Phillips screwdriver is recommended but not really necessary as any regular Phillips screwdriver will do if you are careful. The main problem with the original hinge is that this design eventually fails after a number of hundreds to thousands of cycles. Failed devices allow you to reuse the body part of the assembly (just remove one screw) so you do NOT need the rest of the hinge.
