Review on 🌧️ Rain-Proof Silicone License Plate Frame with Patented Design, 5 Drainage Holes - Anti-Rust, Anti-Rattle and Ideal for Car License Plate by Clint Miller

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Simple, flexible cover

Bought a frame to replace a fragile plastic frame brought in from a car dealer. The installation took a maximum of one minute and went without any problems. When inserting the license plate into the silicone frame, I found it easier to start at the corner and then work along the appropriate long edge. The edges of my panel are sharp, but the silicone was not damaged during installation. Note: There are several small drainage slots in the frame designed for the bottom edge of the panel; It took me a second to identify them and align the frame accordingly. The frame is thin and doesn't raise the number much (see second photo). I want the frame to be a little over about 3/16 of an inch, which it does. Although the number plate is a bit loose in the frame, once the bolts are tightened the number plate fits tighter and I'm happy with the mount overall. With only two screws I find the frame fits snugly to the paint - no more scratches! I can't make any statements about the increased durability of the product at the moment.
