I love this item. This is probably one of the best inventions ever made. I bought one for my desk at work because one of my favorite nuisances is warm coffee. But that's nothing more! I find it amazing that I can pour myself a fresh cup of coffee, be distracted at work for an hour, answer emails, and still have hot coffee afterwards! It's very easy to use. It's so simple it's almost trivial. The heater comes with a small manual that explains all the instructions for use. The heating pad has 3 temperature settings, indicated by the light on the heating pad. I usually use the medium setting since the high setting is essentially the setting for the sun's scorching surface. One of the best aspects of this coffee warmer is the auto shut off feature. I usually turn it off manually, but on those busy days when my scattered mind is everywhere, it's nice to have. The cable is actually quite long. I was worried I would have to buy an extension cord, but it actually goes from my standing desk to the floor with a little extra cord. I would recommend buying a stand for it. I just feel more confident having something between a heating pad and a countertop.
