Update: A week to install and if you don't screw it to the walls this gate isn't strong enough. My 13 month old son can take it off if he tries. All he knows is you can't go where I put the gate not to try. But if you don't screw it into your wall, don't expect it to take a few pulls etc, it will keep coming off the wall. So far it's working but doesn't feel stable when my son decides to tug on it hard. He's only 13 months old, but he's a beast. So if you are looking for a cheap gate for a child or pet, this is the right product for you. It comes with a price. I only see 1. For other gate locations in my house I will get stronger ones. But for simple gates, they are very easy to install and the price is suitable for people on a budget. These gates will do what is necessary. I hope he survives if he pulls on it.
