I've recently started using reusable beauty circles (and micellar water) instead of disposable facial tissues. These cosmetic circles were the first ones I bought, but I tried another brand because it has properties I like (more on that later). Here are the pros and cons: Pros - Each side of the disc has a different texture, one is slightly rougher (more like terry cloth) and the other is very soft. You can use the page that best suits your needs. I used the rougher side for eye makeup and the softer side to remove the tinted moisturizer I apply every day. One pad is enough to remove all my makeup, although I don't usually wear a lot every day. The lighter color lets you know when all your makeup has been removed. Cons: The lighter color of the towels doesn't always remove darker makeup in a regular wash (I used the mesh bag that came with it and went through a regular wash with towels). Some stains were evident although the pads were clean. However, this doesn't bother me as long as I know they are clean. Due to a smudge issue I bought another set of beauty pads which came in a variety of colors including black and gray which I used for my darker makeup removal. Unfortunately, the quality and softness of these don't compare to these, so I doubt I'll continue to use them. I would appreciate if this manufacturer offered a darker color palette to choose from to solve the discoloration problem. The photo included in this review is of a couple of good containers I found at Revain for storing clean pads. The darker ones are from another brand that I wasn't too happy with. I'm not sure if the photo shows the difference in softness or not, but the difference is big. I'll stick with these from now on.
