I love this technique. I have Camero V8 6.2L SS/RS 2013. This item is perfect. It took a while to install, very good instructions. The rubber grommet around the body will need to be trimmed about an inch at the end once it's around the entire piece. I went for a chrome air intake which greatly changes the look of the engine and opens up the front fascia getting rid of all the factory plastic casing everywhere. Once that was done I went for a test drive and WOW! it sounds great!. I'm sure there's a 4-5hp increase, but when you hit this car it still takes off like a bat from hell. I recently installed a Corsa 14952 2.5" stainless steel sport cat-back exhaust kit with 4" Pro-Series tips on a Chevy Camaro SS Automatic for an even deeper, more powerful sound. That intake combined with the exhaust made a huge difference, and that's what a muscle car needs. The more air you can get into the engine, the more horsepower and fuel economy you'll get.
