Not as bright as I was hoping for and many design flaws

This light is not much brighter than my previous light which was easy to attach to the handlebars and didn't require a large battery. to my seat tube. This flashlight has several serious design flaws that are not worth buying at all. I literally have no idea how this lamp gets good reviews. The flashlight is connected to a heavy battery that needs to be attached to the bike. This will add about a pound of weight to your trip.2. The light doesn't swivel, so if you can't somehow get it exactly centered on the handlebars (not possible on my bike), it will shine in one direction or the other. The light moves quite a bit when it's on the handlebars, so you'll have to strap it on backwards. The screw that attaches the light to the base of the light (which connects to your handlebars) is very cheap. I had to glue the base on the light.5. The battery pack straps are too long so the amount of velcro on the strap that actually contacts the velcro on the battery pack (when you wrap the straps around the seat tube) is very, very small (less than 1/2 inch) . . I had to attach the battery pack with zip ties until I found a better velcro strap. 6. The flashlight comes with a rear turn signal (red), but is mostly invisible from the side and requires an unusual battery, making it really inferior to most taillights available today.7. The flashlight also comes with a strap to convert it into a headlamp, but who wants to carry that heavy flashlight and battery on their head? There are many much better headlamps out there so it's basically useless. I really needed the light so I did my best to make it work. But the bottom line is this light isn't even remotely worth it. Avoid!
