I've tried different types of these reusable pouches and this set is way better than others I've tried. If you buy meat for lunch from a deli, it's way better than what they put in the store. I'm really impressed with how long lunch stays fresh. I usually have to make sure I use up all the ground turkey breast I buy within a few days before it shuts down. Now I put it in one of those packets and it lasts over a week! Big money saver as I no longer throw away "stale" lunchtime meat! I will say, even if the description says nothing about it, do not use in the microwave! I put some leftover garlic bread in one of the gallon sized bags - the next day I wanted to reheat them, pour some water in the bag and microwave for a minute. Glad I was standing there - I can hear the noise. Part of the bag at the bottom had melted and was sticking to the quarter-sized glass turntable. I don't think it was the bag itself, I think it was the heat of the bread combined with the water that melted the bag. Definitely don't do what I did - keep them out of the microwave!
