I bought this to take on a hike due to its size and most good reviews but received it yesterday, washed it in the dishwasher last night and it was quite a bit of water. act. The wires are resin filled, but the entire end of the wire is simply tucked into the handle and not soldered/glued. When I tried to shake out the water, the end came loose. At the same time, I bought a 6" Tovolo Mini Whisk. It's sealed well, there's no water in the handle, and it's about 1/2 inch shorter, so this is the one for you!
