I'm a Content Creator, Video Editor and I love to play games. I have a 27" Dell Ultrasharp 4K IPS panel that has served me well, especially for Photoshop. But I needed something to play with, with a smooth refresh rate and decent color accuracy. This display is also from Dell, only under the Alienware brand. To drive a 1080p 240Hz display, you must connect to your graphics card using DisplayPort 1.2 or higher. I use a GTX 1070 Ti so playing games like Overwatch and CS:GO is great. The display has better viewing angles than any TN panel I've seen, and brightness hits a consistent 400 nits (sometimes 450). I calibrated the display and got 99% sRGB, 82% Adobe RGB and a Delta E of around 2. Colors are brighter on this TN, and that's an achievement. The stand is built like a tank, I pound the table. after so many deaths in Overwatch, and he didn't move. It includes HDMI, not DisplayPort, so I had to buy my own, but that's fine, they're under $10. The USB hub is very useful. And the bezels are very thin, like my Dell Ultrasharp. I wouldn't be surprised if Dell uses the same Infinity Edge technology as other flagship displays.
