Luckily I haven't had to test them yet but they are comfortable, light weight and seem to offer excellent elbow/forearm protection. Make sure you select your hand size beforehand. I'm 5ft 7in, 155lbs, 11.5in tall, arms outstretched measured at the spot listed on the chart and I'm medium and could probably make a big one and be fine with a little more room if I stay with this one is snug but the medium is still fits well and i feel a little better if they fit a little tighter knowing they don't move as much on impact.
