Cheap fake. Bought this product when the shifter column shaft broke as the original shaft had a good hole in it. Easy enough to install once you removed the speaker switch, but the item won't stay in place after installation like the original2. Bad copy of the original design. The rubber is nice and thick, but the tabs that hold it in place don't hold it well as it has to be pushed back into place with every gear change. I can't say I've had any luck with Dorman products. I think you get what you pay for.
