The first few centimeters of the gooseneck, which is closest to the attachment to the clip, are very flexible. The rest of the gooseneck is pretty stiff. So I applied a twisted wire seal that wrapped around the power cord, through the clamp spring and around the gooseneck (see my photos) to hold it in place. It does the trick well enough. But the description "dimmable" is WRONG. There are 2 light colors: bright white light and bright soft white/yellowish light. Neither of these light colors is brighter or darker than the other and I am wondering why they call the light "dimmable". UPDATE: I've only had this light for a few months. And I've only used it twice a month for less than an hour each time. And today it got very dark no matter which of the two settings was used. And then after a few minutes it went off completely. What failed is the adapter. I know the adapter is the problem because I tried a different adapter that goes with a different electronic device and the light still works. I bought this flashlight with an adapter because I didn't want to buy a separate adapter. But now the included adapter doesn't work. So the light doesn't work unless I remap the adapter from something else, which I don't want to do. So I'm reducing this rating to one star.
