Glad to have them back in stock. I've been looking for an alternative to a hiking bag that has a compass and thermometer in one place and I haven't found it. Everything else is stupid and/or has the wrong functions. This globe compass is a classic. A globe suspended in liquid is the perfect way to level and get compass readings at any tilt, and once you understand that the tops are for maps and the bottoms are for aiming, it's very easy to get into the right one direction to go (and if you tie that, you're going in a completely wrong direction). I keep one of these in a bag in my car with essentials in case I need to go somewhere on short notice. The carabiner means I know where it is but can easily move it to where I need it.
