Review on Mudtools MudSponge Cleanup Shaping Pottery by Kim Sanchez

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great variety Love

As usual, mud tools use colors to distinguish similar products. Blue is thinner, very flexible, large pores, texture reminiscent of a kitchen sponge. The orange is slightly denser, with fewer pores and a slightly denser body. The white has a very smooth texture with no visible pores, the same thickness as the orange, the same stiffness, maybe a little harder. I just threw them for the first time and I love them. I would say blue doesn't look like it will have the longest lifespan, but time will tell. They got completely flat, like spongy chips that look weird but take shape once you wet them.

Pros
  • Ceramic and pottery tools
Cons
  • Has been damaged

These get great reviews and I understand why. Maybe the best tools I have at my potters wheel.
