I wish I had known that many years ago; I would have used it for miles now. I love when I can find something like this that outperforms anything I've used over the years. On recommendation I used this to seal the edges of a new sleeper boot. This material is superior to anything I have ever worked with. I simply rolled it around the perimeter of the opening, put a boot on top of it, and secured it with a screw every four inches, then another layer of this butyl putty, and then "clip" by inserting another screw every four inches and the Spacing in between divided the first screws so that there is one screw every two inches. there will not be a drop when it rains heavily or when a foot of snow and ice is stuck between the cab and the sleeper, slowly melting and trying to find its way inside. Now that I've found this wonderful stuff, I've been thinking about the numerous places I might want to use it. My product arrived neat as a pin and in very good condition. I can't recommend it highly enough.
