I bought this because I love hiking but I am also very small (4'11) and have chronic back pain which means I can usually sit in a regular camp chair and can't back properly support. hurts for a few days. This little stool is great! Ignore the fact that this photo is indoors, it was before our hike. :D This little stool supports my legs perfectly and aligns my spine so that I can sit comfortably and not worry about back pain when I sit for hours without support. I am a woman who wears size 8 shoes - this is a good size. Even my husband, who wears a size 12, can use it without any problems.
