Review on Marineland Rite-Size C Cartridge, 12-Pack - Enhanced SEO by Chinelo Aranjo

Are these not original Marineland cartridges or is it a manufacturing defect?

Something is strange here, because these cartridges do not fit. I bought 12 cartridges and they came in 2 boxes of 6 each. When received, the boxes were covered with soot that flowed from the cartridges. Having used Marineland cartridges for 15 years I have never had this problem. The problem was immediately apparent when looking at the cartridges. The slots that allowed water to flow through the plastic case were MUCH larger and allowed a lot of carbon to escape. I could easily see through the entire cartridge. I've never experienced this with a Marineland filter cartridge as the slits are usually quite thin and don't let much light through. First of all, activated carbon is the most important filter element. If it spills or just washes down your tank, the filter cartridges are useless. Suspiciously, I placed the cartridge that came with Marineland (shipped with my new tank) and one of the new Monster Pets cartridges next to each other. . There are several obvious differences. I called United Pet Group (Marineland), spoke to her and provided her with photos. None of the stock they have is like the cartridges supplied by Monster Pets. Aside from the oversized slots, what's particularly notable is that these new cartridges feature an X-shaped pattern that covers the entire surface. My cartridge in my aquarium does not currently have an X pattern like the United Pet Group cartridges. do not exclude. However, I find it important that they have no record of such a problem. Also of note was that the method of attaching the blue mesh to the back of the cartridge is different than my Marineland supplied filter. The gluing process leaves a clear mark along the entire edge. The bond between my cartridge and the new cartridges isn't even tight, and the mesh provided by Monster Pets is bonded to a much smaller area (read, not that good). Did Marineland use a second supplier? What broke the filters? United Pet Group hasn't spoken out about how many providers they use, but they don't think they have. When I started saying something is wrong here. I don't know why these filters are bad, but I asked Monster Pets for replacements. I'll update later and let you know how quick they were in resolving this issue.
