Works as it should
This handy little device fits between the handset and the cable so you can put an audio plug into your recording device. That works fine. In my work, it often makes sense to record telephone conversations. It does not require batteries as it runs on phone power. It works well and I haven't had any problems with it so far. A warning: In some states it is against the law to record telephone conversations unless everyone on the call is aware and has not consented. in China.
