Excellent for connecting plastic barrier chains. Each link is the same length as a 2 inch chain but slightly wider at about 0.15 inch. Not as strong as a link chain, but again it's plastic. You can connect by hand, but using pliers is easier. can be carefully cut with an office knife. The photo shows a standard 2 inch plastic chain link on the left and a link on the right.
