I received this product today and upon opening the box I immediately took it and my dog for a test drive. I love it so much I had to write a review ASAP! The quality of the product is truly amazing, especially considering other pet harness configurations cost a lot more than this item. The clamps are very heavy and rotate fully so the belt never twists. It couldn't be easier than installing and securing my dog's harness. Prior to using this item, I relied on a six foot static leash wrapped around the headrest and then attached to my dog's harness to keep him in the passenger seat instead of his lap while driving. This is a big improvement over this one! The only reason I'm taking a star off the rating is because I wish there was a way to keep the seat belt retractor from sliding down the seat belt. , you need to wrap the Velcro very tightly, and then the D ring will not fit the access hole perfectly. It's not really a big problem, but if like me you want to use this item while your dog is in a "booster" or similar item, the connector could slip off and get stuck between the seat and the booster. car seat back.
