Unusable touchscreen functions on iPhone

These gloves will ONLY work with the touchscreen when there is a hard press on the screen, which means: 1) On iPhone, tapping the screen is a gesture recognized by iPhone as a is recognized modifier. So when you try to hard press an app icon on the home screen to open it, the iPhone instead opens the app's context menu, which contains all the options except the ability to launch the app. That means you have to take off your glove to open an app. Also, swiping up from the bottom to switch between apps most of the time doesn't work, and the tip of your thumb wears out from rubbing the bottom edge of the screen. 2) When you put your phone on the stand, you need to support the back of the phone with the rest of your fingers when you press the screen with your thumb. Using just your thumb or index finger to support the back of the phone will make the phone move, unless it's a sturdy stand. 3) The silicone grip strips on the back of your fingers will stick to the screen glass (especially with extra pressure) making it difficult to slide your finger across the screen. In addition to the lack of useful touchscreen functionality, the gloves have a loop sewn into the base to make it easier to hook your finger in to remove the glove. Unfortunately, it has annoying seams on the inside that rub and irritate the wrist in the vein area (proximal wrist crease).
