At first, I was unsure about the size--seemed bigger than I imagined. However, after using several times for cooking stir-fry, pancakes, and okonomiyaki (Japanese octopus pancake), I find the size of spatula not to be a problem at all. I also like its sturdiness when I flip large, pan-size, pancakes. Will update later about how it stands up in heat. So far, I have not seen any changes in shape or texture.Update1/29/21: After using these for over a year, I have to say that they have become my go-to spetula for all my cooking. I bought three different styles of spetula when I first got them and they held up the best even though I used them everyday and they are washed in dishwasher everyday (yep, I am lazy). The top silicone that wraps the handle is getting loose but the whole thing stays pretty sturdy still and looks like the day I got it.
