felt felt so I see a lot of wool and it's probably the purest wool I've ever seen. However, it's also very silky I think based on the way it was washed. I wanted to use this as a wool "filler" in the middle of 3D felts, but it's not very good for that because it's hard to feel. I had to shape it, then wrap it in regular roving and feel it to get a solid shape. If you're also into needle felting, I'd recommend giving up that wool in favor of regular roving or batting.
