This is the pill and lint remover of choice for knitters, at least in my little corner of the world! After several people recommended it to me, I finally ordered it. I've only had it a few days so can't comment on durability yet, but I've tried it on half a dozen tops and am very impressed with how it's doing. Pills formed on an old thin cotton t-shirt that has been washed too many times. This was very effective in removing the larger soft pills that had built up on the Arcteryx fleece. It was moderately effective in removing large tablets of mysterious fluff. Rabbits that had been badly soaked in an old pair of wool-blend ski socks. Least effective was the removal of long white chunks of Bichon-fried wool, chunks of down feathers, and other unidentified fluff that had "kinda" embedded deep in the fur of another Arcteryx, the Black Sweater. This fleece is relatively new and I don't know how it got so lint soaked, but because it's black and the fleece has a knitted texture you can even see a bit of lint on it as if it were under a black light. I was sad that Gleener didn't fare well with that garment. I tried a few blades as well as lint removers and it got to the point where I could tell I was starting to damage the fabric with all my scratches so I stopped. It is what it is and I have to deal with it. However, it worked great on my other test devices, hence four stars! One problem I had with using it was that my hand wanted to hold it the whole time and I kept prying the head off with my finger. It got annoying after about the twentieth time, but if I use it often enough I can stop popping out of my head during a hit. Looks very high quality and great packaging. I'm so glad it comes with its own storage bag. It's light years ahead of your regular old lint brush, better than any electric razor I've tried, and far less wasteful than those sticky-roller lint removers. highlighted.
