I am a size 8 and wanted the shorts to just fit at the waist and be a little loose around my legs and the size large was perfect. The wash is very pretty and the shorts are very comfortable. However, the tiny back pockets and placement of the tiny back pockets are very unflattering. I’m keeping this pair to wear around the house, but I’m sad because they were so close to being exactly what I wanted. If the pockets ever change I will definitely buy more, but not until the pockets change.
