I bought this drill for my 2-4 inch hole saws. Thought it would be great with an angled handle and powerful amp. I have to say it worked perfectly for the 1st warranty period. Shortly thereafter (13 months) it just stopped for me when I drilled a 1/2" hole for a lag bolt. I was very disappointed. I have a Milwaukee 20 year old (6.8 amp with no angle handle) that always still working as well as the day I bought it. When Dewalt died I replaced it with another 1/2" Milwaukee drive with handle. I would recommend not buying Dewalt tools, even if you are a "homeowner" who only uses them around the house. All of my Dewalt tools (1/2 drill, electric jigsaw, saber saw, and radio) are all within Died 3 years after purchase. They have all been lightly used, nothing stressful. Save a few bucks more and buy a Bosch, Milwaukee, or even a Makita.
