Runner stop looking, this setup works great for me.

Just ran a Star Wars half marathon with an RB XL bag on the FlipBelt along with an RB H20 bag. You might think having two products with pockets is overkill, but it seems they were made for each other. Tons of storage, comfortable, water, no displacement. The long RB Pouch magnets prevent the FlipBelt from wrinkling and the FlipBelt prevents the sleeve from attaching to shorts which can sag and shift when a large phone and more are only attached to the shorts elastic. (See my setup in my fourth photo). I have three photos before, during and after the half marathon to show how handy it was. If you look at my first photo of me posing with Jabba the Hutt before the race, you'll see how much I was able to carry comfortably. my last photo): my wife's aviator goggles since pre-dawn takeoff, 3 packs of gum for both of us, toilet paper (it's always a portable potty game). 2) FlipBelt: Note 3 cell phone, wallet, hand sanitizer, my chunky sunglasses clipped to the side. 3) RB H20 Bag: 8 ounces of water (My wife only used the FlipBelt for her Note 4 and RB H20 bag since I could carry everything else.) When we got to 9 Mile for the Wampa photo shoot, I gave mine ex wife their sunglasses which I kept in my RB XL and like Jawa I replaced the space with tons of free gels they were giving away. Also note how well my sunglasses stick to the side of the FlipBelt next to the RB H20. After the race, I stuffed all the free crap into either the RB XL or between my FlipBelt and my body (free cooling towels, snacks, etc.) while we waited in line to take photos with Tarth's Captain Phasma. In the past I've returned other storage products I've tried because they were good at one task but not all. This combination solves all problems. So yeah, I bet with this setup your phone will fit in a Buddy Pouch case and be comfortable and sturdy, but I'd rather store other stuff in it. Highly recommended for longer runs if you know you'll be using portable pots or if you think you might run into a Wampa mid-race like we did. Other products used: FlipBelt and Running Buddy H20 Level Terrain FlipBelt Fanny Pack, Black, Medium/29-32" The Buddy Pouch H2O (Black) is a magnetic, personal hydration bladder. No belt or clip. (4"L x 4" "B)
