The instructions for this product along with this easy step by step DIY approach is an absolute joke. Not only was the idea of cutting metal with a hacksaw not effective, but installing wedges was insane unless you had some Herculean strength and extra hands. It took over an hour just to cut these aluminum bars because the hacksaw won't work if you can't attach it to something or if someone doesn't help you. But 2 teeth have to be very thin so I had to use a jigsaw. After that add the corner pieces you think will fit in, maybe a little tight but NO. I had to shave two of them with a utility knife and coarse sandpaper only to break my wrists so they would "slip" inwards. Then finally hold the cheap transparent mesh by "snapping" the spline. It was the biggest mess I've ever seen. Apparently they should snap, but they don't snap here. I nearly snapped my thumbs trying to line it up and put it in, but had to use metal clips instead. Well, those metal clips scratch aluminum easily, so this clean, minimalist design now looks awful with clip marks from a poorly constructed product. DO NOT BUY. Make a transparent cover with holes, a window kit I don't know but something else.
