I was looking for sandals for all occasions... suitable for walking, hiking, taking children along the creek and quad biking (cannot move foot with open toe) and should be comfortable without socks , because I don't wear sandals with socks... well, these are the right ones! Very comfortable and their ultra light bonus was. I think these are the perfect sandals. Time will tell how well they hold up, but for now I'm very happy with them. Maybe half a size smaller would be better, but that's not so important.
